Nha Trang

I have to say that Nha Trang is beautifully situated in a geographical sense. The mountains and the see all around make me think of San Francisco or the Mediterranean coast of France with less development. There's an energy here that seems different than many other towns we've been in so far. Maybe it's just becuase there's a festival in town, but even on the way into the city, people seemed to be smiling—happy. It just seems like an exciting place to be. I think that it'll be a hot spot in the next couple of decades.

  1. On the Way to Na Trang

The picturesque rice paddies and distant mountains
contrasts with the metal and cement shops
    which litter the roadside.

    The desire to reach out
    and touch
    someone is great.
The Vietravel tour bus bumps by
    a typical open air house
which opens for all to see.
The computer screen in the middle
of the door that is nearly
the same width of the house
    opens with its
    Microsoft Windows XP Screensaver
    of hill and sky.
